Busy weekend ahead for AGA with 79 points up for grabs

There are 3 AGA Ladies Open races this weekend that are qualifiers for our final at Cheltenham in May, and the first of them takes place at the Duke of Beaufort's meeting at Didmarton on Saturday. Then on Sunday we have the Derwent meeting at Charm Park, and the Chiddingfold, Leconfield and Cowdray meeting at Tweseldown. To add to this we also have a ladies race at the Ross Harriers meeting at Garnons on Sunday where points will be available for the AGA Total Control Lady Riders' Championship.

I can see some movement at the top of the table come Sunday evening and I am convinced that we are going to see a strong Northern challenge during the next few weeks, especially as we have qualifiers in Yorkshire on the 4th and 11th of March. There are also some top names lurking just off the pace who have yet to win a qualifier and they definitely can't be ruled out. Yes, the race to win the AGA is really warming up and I can see 10 to 15 girls being in contention on the eve of the final on 2nd May, if not more!

The weekend can't come soon enough and I'm looking forward to some seriously competitive racing across the country, hopefully I'll see you all somewhere!
